Kim Uchiyama

Kim Uchiyama is an artist who makes lovely paintings using horizontal stripes. As you look at them for long periods of time, the different weights of the stripes push your eye up and down and eventually fall into an enjoyable rhythm.
This video documents her recent show at the Lohin Geduld Gallery. I had a lot of fun making this, and I hope to work more with these paintings, and Kim in the future.
